  • Summary: World of Goo is a multiple award winning physics based puzzle / construction game made entirely by two guys.

Drag and drop living, squirming, talking, globs of goo to build structures, bridges, cannonballs, zeppelins, and giant tongues.

The millions of Goo Balls that live in the
beautiful World of Goo are curious to explore - but they don't know that they are in a game, or that they are extremely delicious.

Mysterious Levels - Each level is strange and dangerously beautiful, introducing new puzzles, areas, and the creatures that live in them.

World of Goo Balls - Along the way, undiscovered new species of Goo Ball, each with unique abilities, come together to ooze through reluctant tales of discovery, love, conspiracy, beauty, electric power, and the third dimension.

The Sign Painter - Someone is watching you.

World of Goo Corporation - Congratulations! World of Goo Corporation is the Global Leader in Goo and Goo Related Product, including World of Goo Corporation Trademark Brand Soft Drink Beverage and World of Goo Corporation Trademark Brand Facial Exfoliating Lotion. Succulent!

Massive Online Competition - Human players around the world compete in a living leaderboard to build the tallest towers of goo in World of Goo Corporation's mysterious sandbox. World of Goo Corporation is contractually obligated to state that everyone is a winner and is enthusiastic to celebrate everyone's tower building opportunities equally.

    Congratulations, and good luck!

World of Goo had stunning visuals prior to the upgrade to high definition graphics, but the addition of the HD graphics only enhances an already great experience. World of Goo HD is easily one of the best designed and most polished iPhone apps available on the market.

The rest you probably know about already: the fantastic visuals, the cracked humour, the five contrasting chapters that keep you transfixed right to the end. If a better game ever comes to the iPad, you might well spontaneously combust.

A stellar recreation of the PC version. I've encountered absolutely no slowdown (or any other issues) during my time with the iPad edition.

We literally have nothing bad to say about World of Goo. It's a wonderful puzzle game that every iPad owner needs to download. Prepare to spend hours, if not weeks, playing this one.
  5. Jan 27, 2011
World of Goo is a perfect fit for the iPad. Using your fingers to interact with the goo is such an organic experience – there is nothing mechanical about it.
  6. Jan 27, 2011
I can't recommend World of Goo enough. If you are a fan of physics puzzlers or just a good games in general, this is a must have. While it's not a new game, it's good to have it finally on a platform that it seems to have been designed for.

I played World of Goo previously on my PC, but the iPad version's controls are a lot more suited to the game. Stacking goo balls by dragging them with your finger is faster, not to mention more fun.
