  • Summary: This is a pretty simple little app that lets you use your iPad as a wireless joystick for a copy of X-Plane running on your desktop or laptop computer. If you have a desktop or laptop computer and an iPad, but no joystick, you can steer the plane in your desktop copy of X-Plane with your iPad... pretty fun!

    As well, this app has sliders for throttles, flaps, speedbrakes, trim, and landing gear, so you can control all of these things in X-Plane, using you iPad as the ultimate joystick.

    As well, we draw a small handful of maps and instrument panels on your iPad so you can use the pad as an external instrument panel, letting you run X-Plane on your desktop or laptop in full-screen to see the most possible scenery... it is pretty darn cool!

    You do need to have X-Plane 9.40 or later, on a desktop or laptop computer, running on the same wireless network as your iPad, to use this app since this app sends it's joystick data wirelessly over the local network to X-Plane.

    This is a pretty simple app, but pretty darn fun when used with a desktop copy of X-Plane! This is a must-have if you travel with a laptop and an iPad, but no joystick.    … Expand
