Issues aside, Zombie Gunship is a corpse blasting good time you should download immediately. Strap yourself in and give the apocalypse hell.

A very tough game to put down. The ability to purchase upgrades with real dough does tarnish the leaderboards somewhat, and we do wish the game launched with a few more maps or modes of play.

Zombie Gunship is an original and engrossing shooter that balances its lack of variety and content with a well-designed upgrade system which ultimately encourages you to play it over and over again.

Zombie Gunship's sound also skews toward realism. While no music is present, the sound effects, such as your gunship's gun, are very well done. This minimalist approach towards the sound and music design works well to capture the realistic atmosphere that Zombie Gunship attempts.

Graphically the game is quite impressive as the blur effects and the black and white distinction of zombies and humans respectively, gives it a very realistic edge.

Clever, polished, and perfectly tuned to keep you hooked, Zombie Gunship is another iPhone time-destroyer.

Limbic's stylish shift in approach makes a substantial difference, and any indifference is swiftly swept away as you attempt to cut a swathe through the undead hordes from the air.

There's heaps of defense-type games, but Zombie Gunship stands out because of it's stark realism.

Blast endless waves of zombies in this addictive casual shooter with tons of style.

It may become repetitive before long, but Zombie Gunship offers great zombie-shooting fun while it lasts.

Though the shelf life is capped at little more than a week or two, gamers will be pleased to know that Limbic's Zombie Gunship is indeed as much fun as it sounds.

Zombie Gunship obviously has its influences, but it works them into something surprising: a slow-mo high-score shooter, a grainy panorama of survival horrors, and a greater sense of an undead horde than the rest of the App Store's zombie shooters put together.

A fun game for as long as it lasts. It's very well-made, and has a fun premise. But the lack of multiple maps, modes or any other reason to replay other than topping your score makes Zombie Gunship merely a fun diversion than a fulfillment of Zombiepocalypse Now.

If you want to waste a minute or two, wasting hundreds of zombies, then this is one download that will do exactly what it says on the tin.

Love this game. It is simple, enjoyable, yet addictive. Graphics, although not high-quality, perfectly fits the ambience and the type of the game. Recommended! Full Review »

It's like COD for your phone. The game has really good sound, ambiance, and lots of objectives. I haven't played anything quite like it on mobile yet. Full Review »

Ridiculously good fun reminds me of the Death From Above mission on Modern Warfare. It's a little frustrating at first as your cannon isn't that good, but stick with it, grab the upgrades and it soon becomes a turkey shoot! Full Review »
