Everything about the product is shoddily executed, from its formulaic and outdated gameplay mechanics to its horribly dusty graphic look.
  2. To add insult to injury, when Batman gets hurt, his animation is to fall over like a domino. Here you've got a fully equipped destroyer of crime, and he takes punches like an inflatable 'punch-em' clown. This speaks pages for how poorly the rest of the animation fares.
  3. Even Batman himself can't resurrect the extinct gameplay this game features. Dreadful stuff indeed.
  4. Fans of the cartoon obviously aren't sick of the Batman premise, but that doesn't mean they'll be able to tolerate this game.
  5. Even if you're a huge fan of the Batman cartoons or comic books, steer clear of this disaster of an action game.

Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker on N64. I'll give them some credit on the title because it really is a joker.

This is the only game that I can think of that is so bad that it's fantastic. It's not like Superman 64 where the game was so bad that it was just flat out bad. This is **** Batman. He can't fly or anything. He is the best superhero in the world and they treat him like a bloody rag-doll or punching dummy.

Almost every cinematic scene after a boss fight has a cutscene where Batman collapses backwards onto the ground like a domino or inflatable punch 'em clown, or like a model falling backwards against the wind.

Batman of the Future: Return of the Joker (the Australian title of the game) is such a guilty pleasure that it should be punishable by death to have pleasure from playing this disaster.
