  1. Madden 2001 passes the competition to become the best gridiron title on the N64.
  2. The EA sports team has put all the pieces together and created some gaming magic.
  3. One thing is true, Madden 2001 is the best football game to ever grace a cartridge, and EA leaves the N64 with a bang.
  4. The tweaks to the AI and the small additions like the two-minute drill and coach-specific playbooks are more than enough reason for fans of the series to pick this year's iteration up.

While the graphics suffer this time out, the game remains quite fun and won't disappoint the Madden fans out there.
  6. This year's game has excellent graphics, a great frame rate, fluid gameplay, and plenty of new features.
