  1. While Spider-man for the N64 has some of the snazzy spider's super skills down pat, it falls prey to some boring gameplay design.

The game really creates the feeling of being Spider-Man like no game before it, and for many Marvel fans, that will be more than enough... Yet many gamers will be dismayed by the finicky camera and formulaic gameplay.
  3. This is not a bad game on the whole. If you've got the patience to get through it, and if you can bear with the shabby controls and sometimes maddeningly awkward camera angles, there are plenty of rewards.

We come not to bury Spider-Man, but to lament that more could not be done to make the Nintendo 64 version of the game as sharp as its counterpart.

While the graphics certainly aren't horrendous, they lack overall polish.
