Constantly surprising, always delightful, never less than utterly stunning, this journey through the looking glass into a new and perfectly formed world is escapism of the very highest order.

I think this game is criminally underrated just because it uses the same assets and ocarina of time. This game is so unique in the fact its world building and character design make the gamer truly care for the world they are trying to save. It is a masterpiece.

Where Majora rises to the top is its concept – three days to save the world. The execution of the idea is flawless: time means everything and the player always has to be aware. The save system is absolutely perfect, letting players feel comfortable in controlling time but still keeping them on the edge of their seats when things get hairy.
The change in mood and the incredible new story are enough to rope anybody in for the easy thirty or more hours it will take to complete this worthy sequel.
It's easily the best game I've played so far this year on the N64 (although Banjo-Tooie might be a strong contender) and will remain one of my favorite games for a long time to come.
even though I had more fun playing through Ocarina of Time, overall, Majora's Mask is just as impressive technically and possibly even more rewarding to play because of Link's newfound abilities with each of the masks he acquires.
Some will appreciate the game's differences, while others will find the game's focus on minigames and side quests tedious and slightly out of place.
This and sonic cd are prime examples of what I want in games, a fun time travel mechanic that ads way more content than a massive **** off gta map could ever dream of. It has the best story, the only game where I actually care about the characters and what they're going through especially the villain. This game could not have been made today because of how **** nintendo has become

Not as good as ocarina but better than most other Zelda games. Storyline is a bit dull, gameplay is good, some temples are good others are dry.

A fantastically eerie game with loads of fun in it's mask gameplay system. Fantastic soundtrack as usual, alongside multiple improvements due to the nature of it being a sequel. However, alongside it's N64 brethren the aging cracks are quite obvious with poor camera controls and often shotty visuals only saved by the great artistic direction.

Visually this is a great looking game, but overall I find it extremely frustrating and not like any of the other Zelda games I've played. Lots of mini games that I find to be kind of pointless, and timed tasks that are really frustrating. ...yeah, I found this to be a huge disappointment, and annoyed that this got such great reviews as it led me to purchase it. :(
