For a wonderfully plucky exercise in territory control, chess-like simplicity, mana management, landscaping, and rampaging bears, A Druid Duel has dropped its gauntlet at your feet.
One of those little things that would work much better on a bus to work. It’s got simple mechanics, the turns are short and it can help you stretch out your brain. [05/2015, p.67]
A Druid’s Duel was a very intense experience that had me growl like a grizzly more than once as a single mistake would be enough for the opponent to take me down. Overall, A Druid’s Duel is a solid and attractive experience that tactics strategy fans will find themselves losing themselves in for hours at a time.
A well dropped strategic with original but extremely peculiar ideas, best suited to all the fans of chess and board games rather than those of turn-based games.
