  • Summary: BASE jump through a floating city, creating your own stunts to delight your fans. You dive off a skyscraper, relying on quick reflexes to negotiate the intricate tangle of girders that make up the floating city. All eyes are on you as the judges mark your score. One hundred points for hugging those exposed struts as you fall. A thousand for planting a kiss on the side of that building. Twisting and turning, you thread the needle between two billboards, earning cheers from your fans. But while reflexes are important, it's quick thinking that gets you the win. One block away, you spot a crowd of protesters decrying your sport, and make a split second decision. You break off course, stare them straight in the eye, and flip them the finger. They explode into a burst of fury, but the judges absolutely love it, bumping you up to first place. Now all you have to do is to make that landing without ending up a loose sack of broken bones. 1. But most of all, Aaaaa! scores on style. From the made-up lingo to the flirty backtalk and insider gags, it plays like an underground skating or Parkour flick—but one that’s made for an imaginary sport instead of a real one.
  2. Let's face it, Base Jumping is out of the comfort zones for most of us, but Aaaaa! presents a thrill-inducing, skill-testing rush of a game that everyone should try.
  3. A great indie game that personifies what indie games are all about. Pick it up if you want a fresh experience in your gaming.
  4. If you are not afraid of losing a hand or leg just jump in and enjoy a free fall to its bitter end. Or use a parachute… an appetite for black humor required. [Issue#187]

A truly unique game that is fun and addictive. I didn't have much hope for this game probally because of the weird title, it came in a bundle with The Wonderful End of the World for about £6. This game ended up being the one i play most. It is a great game to have a quick go or to play for hours to try and got 5 teeth (stars) for each level, some of which are very hard. The speed you pick up can be amazing. The game runs very smooth, the graphics are good, the sound is good. Highly recommended. Expand
  2. Truly a fun little game. I bought it as part of the Portal 2 ARG, hoping to get a few quick "potatoes" to help the ARG out, but I found myself coming back to it over and over again. The level designs are really cool, the music is great, the sense of humor and style are quirky and enjoyable, and the game itself is just simple, easy-to-grasp fun (though the game definitely is challenging to master, haha). At first I found myself just blowing through it, but now I'm really coming back to complete levels and get the high scores to unlock the most I can. Overall it's a really neat concept, and I really enjoy having the competitive leaderboard with friends in Steam Community to add a bit to the replay value when my buddy has just figured out a way to beat my high score. My only gripes are: 1)I know it will run out of content very soon for me. I'm nearing the end of the levels I can unlock (and indirect competitive multiplayer is only so engaging...). 2) I would love to see gamepad support. I feel like using a wired 360 controller (with rumble) would be an awesome addition if added. 3) GRAPHICS SETTINGS, OH DEAR LORD GRAPHICS SETTINGS. I would kill to be able to change resolution and window the game when needed. All of Dejobaan's games have the same problem, and it is no less annoying here than it is in the others. |||||||| However, all gripes aside, it's cheap, and it's easy to play, and you can easily and quite enjoyably kill some time playing this title! 3. This is a very good game... if you're looking to spend a short period of time gaming. You'll find yourself repeating later levels for 15 minutes or so before actually completing one before finding out you could've done better. Levels are purchased with the points you earn; and they are earned simply enough that you won't strain to get the next level. So other than the drive to best your score, there's little else giving the game replay value. Cost of entry is usually small, so it's worth picking up; but don't expect a game that is going to soak up your every free minute. Collapse
  4. I was honestly just happy to run out of points so I couldn't buy any more cubes. At that point I decided that it wasn't worth it to go back and try to get better scores on the previous cubes. Just one more game that was trying to get knocked of my steam list. Expand
