I could spend a lot of time pointing out this game’s flaws but I don’t have the heart to do it. It’s an enjoyable hack’n’slash and the fans of Finn and Jake finally received an adaptation that’s not extremely hopeless. [06/2014, p.68]
Unfortunately, this "Epic Quest" is epic in name only.

Solid hack-n-slash fun based on the popular Cartoon Network series. The graphics are true to the animation style of the show and the voice-over, while a bit repetitive, is funny enough and typical for the genre. It actually does have a good story line that keeps you interested and moves things along on Finn and Jake's rescue Mission. If you're a fan of the show, it's a solid buy. When I first tried the game, I was aware of, but hadn't watched the show, but this game wound up making me a fan. A great game for kids.

Boring at best, annoying at worst, do yourself a favor and give this game a pass.
It's a low-end hack n slash game, perfect for younger gamers to play as two of their favorite TV characters. Is it repetitive for older gamers,, but it has formula that makes it an okay time filler.

Good lord. One fetch quest after the other.
Combat is extremely bland, the only special attacks are consumables, levels are large without any clear sense of direction.
The one major plus with this game would be the music , great chip tunes.

Summary Team up as Finn and Jake in a 3D adventure of epic proportions. The Land of Ooo has been transformed into a giant video game, and BMO has been kidnapped. Brawl your way through the Witch's garden, Ice Kingdom, Fire Kingdom, and even the Land of the Dead itself to rescue BMO and uncover the evil mastermind.
