  • Summary: The player takes on the role of Ali and begins the game at the meeting-place chosen by the Princess: at the entrance to the cemetery, in the rough part of town? But the Princess fails to turn up. Has she disappeared? If that was the case, it would cause a terrible crisis in the Sultanate of Akabha! [DreamCatcher Interactive] Expand

  1. A mediocre entry in the crowded action field. While there are no glaring faults and the gameplay is adequate, there's just not much fun, either.
  2. Certainly replicates well the sounds and sights of the ancient Middle East, and the production values are quite high. However, it is extremely challenging for any developer to find the perfect blend of action and adventure in any release claiming to combine both elements, and the balance here seems a bit skewed.
  3. A tedious combination of elementary puzzles and primitive fighting. [Dec 2002, p.118]
  4. If you're desperate for a Prince of Persia fix then give the free first episode a try and you might, just might, like it a little bit.
