  • Summary: Set in the visually attractive environment of rugged Central Asia, Arma 2: British Armed Forces will add even more depth to the already extensive size of the most realistic combat simulation experience available. Unprecedented freedom of movement, action and tactics - together with hundreds of models and epic sandbox-style maps - creates the most authentic military simulation game: war without the training wheels. 1. The only downside to this excellent new content is that you still have to play it using ArmA II's awkward command interface, which, sadly, this DLC does not attempt to improve. [Nov 2010, p.83]
  2. Add-on for add-on comes with one pretty short campaign, a bunch of new units and weapons… and with a couple of new bugs. Nevertheless it is the best army sim on the market. [Issue#195]

This is a great addition to any ARMA fans collection. New units, vehicles and terrain are very detailed and authentic. The campaign is a bit short but it's supplemented with almost ten new single player missions. Voice acting and overall polish have also improved a lot over previous Bohemia's games.

The best part is if you buy this addon you can still play with those who don't have it. They just see the new content in low resolution version. So it's 100% multiplayer compatible.
