In Asheron's Call 2: Legions, players will aid the ancient race of Empyreans through a classic tale of mystery and discovery. 1. Not only does it give high-level characters new playgrounds, but it's also a second shot at life for AC 2. [Sept 2005, p.63]
  2. AC2 Legions is about average for the genre, but the interface is a bit clunky is places, especially when compared to the recent heavy hitters like "World of Warcraft" and "EverQuest II."
  3. So despite a slight lick of paint, especially in the newer areas, AC2 still sports one of the ugliest interfaces in MMO history and has game options that are insultingly simplistic. [PC Zone]
  4. A mixed bag. It certainly adds plenty for loyal players, but I think it fails to do much to bring in new faces or draw former players back into the fold.
  5. The new races are cool, but it seems strange that one of them is only available to those who pre-order or complete a very high-level quest. While it includes a great amount of content, Legions lacks a bit of polish and lot of shine.
