    The game looks beautiful on the surface, with it's black and white doodle aesthetic, but that swiftly becomes a confusing mess of objects asThe game looks beautiful on the surface, with it's black and white doodle aesthetic, but that swiftly becomes a confusing mess of objects as bullets, explosions, debris and background hide each other leading to some rather frustrating deaths. Also, levels often require you to have any one of three weapon types in order to do even remotely well in them, and with only two weapon slots on your ship many waves are spent hiding in the corner waiting for the enemy to drop their shields or simply fall off the screen.

    Outside of the shooting the gameworld is extremely repetitive without offering any challenge other than trying to find an NPC to propose a mission. I often found myself wondering why those sections even existed. As it only cost £3 I can't complain too greatly, but I feel this game is going to sit in my library unplayed until I need some more space and ultimately delete it.
