  1. The game has barely evolved since it was first released in the 90’s.
  2. The online capability is a step in the right direction, but I think the game needs a complete overhaul of its interface and feature list to once again recapture its spot on the top of the hill.
  3. What was once groundbreaking is now mundane, since this new game remains largely unchanged from what was so refreshing five years ago.

Threre's little direction to help you along as you try to set up and run a league, and the interface is poorly designed at nearly every level. [Oct 2002, p.116]
  5. Veteran players and die-hard baseball fans will probably find it too simplistic and ultimately unsatisfying.

While the new version features revamped graphics and a few new options, gameplay is nearly identical to what it was five years ago.

Great game. Points to real money is $200,000 per point instead of $100,000 per point when Microsoft Baseball and Baseball Mogul combined for Great game. Points to real money is $200,000 per point instead of $100,000 per point when Microsoft Baseball and Baseball Mogul combined for a year. Anyone who doesn't like this game is someone who is beat all the time because they won't steal the free agents and sell them to the highest bidder. Full Review »
