It's definitely a strong "fix", reminiscent of the single-player joy that we experienced throughout Arkham City, but Harley Quinn does not include some fascinating set piece or an essential scene that will ascend the general experience. [August 2012]

The story of Harley Quinn's vengeance adds nothing to everything that's been said in done in Arkham City. If you're having a greed attack over the $10 price tag of this DLC, well… just ignore it.

The HQR DLC feels like it's been made by an entire different team. Everything that was great about the original game is being thrown away and we're left with a very linear experience, a lack of interesting puzzle elements, bad story and voice-acting, predictable ending and a complete dumb down of the characters. The game play remains the same but even though the new playable character (Robin) has a nice addition of gadgets, they are not used to their full potential due to pretty poor level design.
As far as time goes it will take anywhere between 45 minutes to 1 hour and a half depending on how fast you decide to run it and apart from a bunch of balloons you can search and pop there's nothing that should slow you down or make you want to replay it.

This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. I finished this DLC in somewhat like 70 minutes. They made it almost as short as the Catwoman DLC which was free for me. Whilst the story hardly made any progress at all, Batman treats Robin worse than a dog despite him saving his life, which felt weird to me. Maybe because he's hardened after the Joker's death, but it felt wrong nonetheless. In the end I didn't take anything with me after finishing HQR. Some side missions in the original game are even better than this. Maybe my expectations were too high. Full Review »
