  1. An excellent hardcore simulation for the air combat enthusiast, especially one with an appreciation for history.
  2. Battle of Britain II's enhanced stability and updated graphics are compelling enough on their own, but when you toss in a 140-page printed manual and a bonus 52-minute "Battle of Britain" DVD, that $50 game box starts to look even better. [Oct 2005, p.66]

The dynamic strategic campaign is simply brilliant but the lack of a developing career mode keeps you from becoming too invested in the actual aerial action.
  4. Battle of Britain 2 does a good job of making you feel part of one of the most decisive campaigns the free world has ever known. But it still allows you to display your cocky side when you mix it up solo style.
  5. Battle of Britain 2: Wings of Victory waits for a patch to make it steadier. A great campaign system and a very interesting flight model provide lots of good single player action. [Oct 2005]
  6. Here in beats the heart of a classic.but casual simmers should wait and see if patches fix the problems.
  7. Quotation forthcoming. [Jan 2005]
  8. Until the bugs are squashed, Eurogamer cant recommend Wings Of Victory to anyone but wealthy sim completists with a gambling streak.
