    Good strategy game but most definitely dated , I remember the first version on the spacies. Easy to load, save, change options and its not too hard on easy.… Expand

    I remember trying this game when it came out. Graphics were ok for the time, however what this game shines for is its amazing game-play mixture of strategy and first-person vehicle action. No other game that decade had attempted to mix such a type of strategy (Mobile factories, vehicle building and customisation) with excellent personal combat (You control a flying tank!). Both succeed brilliantly by themselves, and even better when combined together. The story it self is great as well (Cold-War era battles between USA and USSR, with flying tanks on the Moon and beyond?!). This game is for those that adore the complexity of strategy games, while having the urge of getting their hands dirty in close combat. I fully recommend giving this (Or its sequel BZ2) a go and see for yourself!… Collapse

    This game is great, one of the original developers came back recently and made a patch that fixes a few bugs and compatibility issues with modern PC's. There's a website that offers a free installer and hosts a server with a small but active community. check it out sometime. Google battlezone 1 or visit them at battlezone1.com.… Expand
