An acquired taste, if you like to work out the old gray matter, this is the game for you.
Those wargamers will be able to find little wrong with BCT. (Plus, it runs like a dream on the lowest of the low-end PCs!) It’s a complex game, but it’s a satisfying experience once you get your hands dirty.
It's a rigorous, realistic simulation of what it's like to command a brigade of combined-arms troops in modern warfare.
Those who love controlling every aspect of a battle, those who have time to spend mastering the cumbersome interface, and those who don't mind managing a daunting number of units may enjoy BCT Commander. Everyone else should stay away.
Niche wargaming at its worst: clunky, obscure, and sterile. It ultimately feels more like homework than a wargame.

Summary Based on the battalion/brigade level tactical simulator, JANUS, and designed for and used by the army to train its senior commanders, this windows-based simulation retains all of the realism of its mainframe-based predecessor, while improving on the user interface by using windows-style point and click commands.
