Coming to Captain Tsubasa as a fan of football, but knowing nothing of the anime and manga, I had no idea what to expect from this game, but I was more than impressed. Tamsoft, a company better know for little skirts-and-panties games like Senran Kagura, spinoff Hyperdimension Neptunia titles, Onechanbara and School Girl/Zombie Hunter was up against it with this game. After all, how do you compete with the might of EA and Konami without going so far into the realm of arcade experiences that the game is no longer recognisable as the sport? Tamsoft genuinely managed to figure it out. Captain Tsubasa is a back-to-basics football game with excellent pace and considerable verve. It's not just for existing fans of the anime or manga; this game is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy clean, entertaining football action with their friends without having to first send them off to a college degree to learn how to play.
Captain Tsubasa is a simple tactics-adjacent sports game with characters you’ll quickly grow to love. Nothing here is particularly groundbreaking, but it is so much fun seeing Japan’s Golden Generation grow into tomorrow’s stars. The game probably doesn’t have much of a competitive future. That said, it did make me go out and pick up the manga. So, it’s a win-win for creator Yoichi Takahashi. If you’re looking for a game that’s easy to get into and hard to put down, Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is as good as any.

Most fun I’ve had with a sports game in years. Very deep customization and in depth story mode. Wish there was an option for a franchise mode with seasons etc, but it has been a blast. Fluid, cool animations, exciting gameplay, and create a character is earning your way to be the best instead of micro transactions. I also would like an option to up the difficulty in story modes and lengthen the matches in those modes too. Fun game! I love it!

thing you were looking for. So have fun! We sure did.
Even with some of its mechanical and story-telling shortcomings Rise of New Champions is a fun time that shows why this is a beloved series. There’s a lot of joy to be had in following Tsubasa’s story and creating your own and the flashy football action has some shining moments. With some more tuning and gameplay focus, there’s a really bright future for Nankatsu’s football star.
Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is an imperfect title, a title that shows the side to several problems. However Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions entertained us, amused us and still offers a breath of fresh air in the videogame football scene.
Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions aims at both anime and football fans, but it fails to satisfy both audiences.
Captain Tusbasa can be fun when you grab some of your mates for an all out brawl on the pitch if the scoring mechanic wasn't so dumb. It takes away all of the tension of a match. Skip this one unless you're really keen to experience the so-so campaign for yourself.
First, its not a FIFA or PES game. Its a Captain Tsubasa game that makes you feel all the tension, emotion and thrill of each match played by the character of this anime/manga. The only negative thing I could mention is the lack of other countries in the game, but ok, they not appear in the series. Its a must have for fans of Tsubasa and its universe. 10/10.

كابتن تسوبيا قدمت تقدم ملموس في انميشن حركة اللاعبين كما هي اسلوب المهارات و التسحيب , ولكن ما زالت هناك فجوة كبيرة بين مبدأ اقتطاع الكرة و سرعة تعبئة مستويات شحن الضربة الخارقة
بالاضافة الى منحنى تعلم من متوسط الى صعب لفهم الية عمل اسلوب اللعب ككل

Captain Tsubasa : Rise of New Champions est un super jeu pour les fans du manga.
Le gameplay est au début assez difficile à prendre en main, mais une fois maîtrisé il se révèle riche et amusant. Il y a deux modes histoire, un vous mettant dans la peau de Tsubasa et l'autre dans celle d'un personnage que vous avez créé. Le premier raconte assez fidèlement la deuxième partie du manga, avec quelques mises à jours présentent dans le dernier animé (les personnages ont des téléphones portables). Le second mode histoire se divise en deux arcs, le premier est un championnat entre les meilleures équipe des collèges (comme diraient les français) à l'exception du Naniwa FC et le second arc consiste en un tournoi international. Ce tournoi est légèrement différent de celui du manga, il y a plus d'équipes, des nouveaux joueurs et il se déroule aux Etats-Unis d'Amérique. Il y a aussi un mode match libres et un mode match en ligne. J'ai eu l'agréable surprise d'entendre, à un moment donné dans le mode aventure, le générique du dessin animé des années 80 en version instrumentale. Les plus gros défauts de ce titre sont le grand nombre de bugs graphiques et d'intelligence artificielle, parfois un manque de réactivité des touches et le "season pass" à 25 euros pour seulement 9 personnages.

This is not funny . I played captain tsubasa from nes I to sfc V . I Prefer tactics Soccer than this , we already have FIFA , The game doesn't make it special . the famous opening song wasn't here , japan have five anime version of captain tsubasa ,now six incoming . all the same story ,same scenario ,that's very rare ,Because it is important for education. It doesn't matter make soccer looks like circus or fiction . the game ,the anime can invite more young people to play soccer , that should be the most precious goal . captain taubasa II still the best animation ,best soundtrack . there are various edit versions of captain tsubasa 2 made by fans .better than this game .

Partamos de la premisa que este juego cuesta 60 dólares, por lo que se toma ese parámetro como punto de partida. Es flojo en todo sentido, me hace acordar mucho a DBZ Kakarot. El gameplay es demasiado simple, pero lo peor es que ni siquiera le juega a favor, movimientos toscos, cambios de jugadores muy imprecisos, la IA es inexistente, los pases son horrendos y encima para ejecutar un tiro especial tenes que apretar el boton de tiro y dar vueltas como una calesita hasta que se llene una barra. Este juego hubiera funcionado mil veces mejor como un RPG.
Lo peor de todo? El modo historia de oliver, sólo 7 partidos y se termina. El juego de super nintendo tenia 4 veces mas historia en un cartucho de 16 bits.
Es disfrutable unicamente si sos muy fan del anime, igual 60 dolares por este producto es una locura. Ni hablar del port de PC que es directamente nefasto.
