Car Tycoon may appear to be a decent ride, but if you're looking for a really excellent management game, you should look elsewhere.
As if the lack of stats wasn't enough, trying to figure out exactly what everything that is in the game does is frustrating, and the flimsy manual offers little help...The game also lacks focus and rationale.
The combination of wretched design, brainless financial models, and buggy gameplay leaves you with the realization that you got suckered into buying a lemon. [May 2002, p.87]
