For example, Rummy is one of the 18 games, but it is all variations of Rummy including Gin, 500 Rum, Oklahoma, Standard Rummy, Boathouse Rummy and several more. The same is true for most other games, including the highlights below
100+ Solitatire variants including Freecell, Pyramid Solitaire, Golf Solitaire, Klondike, Windows Solitaire, Spider, Calculation (Easily replaces all the classic games missing from Windows 8)
Poker includes Draw Poker, 5 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud, Texas Holdem Poker and Strip Poker (Hidden Easter Egg, more on that in a bit)
The gameplay is very good for a card game with strong AI in all the games I tested. I appreciated the inclusion of some of the more rare card games like Whist, Canasta, Pinochle and Euchre. This game even includes Bridge with SAYC bidding conventions.
Lastly, The game is very visually appealing, with clean graphics and smooth transitions throughout. This is clearly not a fly-by-night shovelware card game, the developers spent a long time with this one. There are lots of nice touches like free customization options for menu themes, music, tables, and card fronts and backs. Layout is well considered, so that card control is easy on the desktop or Windows 8 tablet.
Overall, I give this game a 10. It has already replaced my standalone Blackjack, Hearts and Spades apps.
Now about that easter egg....Strip Poker is available by clicking on the lower left hand corner very near the edge of the screen. It is a little hard to find, but if it wasn't it wouldn't be an easter egg now would it.
