    It coulda been a contender. What looks like a clever Flash game turns out to be a mindless click fest in the long run. If you like clicking the "Next" button hundreds and thousands of times, you'll love Coffee Tycoon. A number of features, such as customer preferences, are apparently not influenced by any of your actions. Occasionally, you can upgrade your shop, but otherwise it all It coulda been a contender. What looks like a clever Flash game turns out to be a mindless click fest in the long run. If you like clicking the "Next" button hundreds and thousands of times, you'll love Coffee Tycoon. A number of features, such as customer preferences, are apparently not influenced by any of your actions. Occasionally, you can upgrade your shop, but otherwise it all depends upon how you set your ratio of baristas to managers to executives. Random events seem to have more influence in the game than your decisions. It's a shame. I wanted to like this game. Expand

    It's like any other 'tycoon' game. Just basic running a coffee shop, upgrading it, and making money. Great if you're like me and like tycoon games.

    Coffee Tycoon benefits from a subtle and entirely listenable jazz soundtrack but the interface sounds are a little too metallic and aggressive.
  2. The casual gamer won’t even dignify this with half a first glance, it’s a game to remind yourself that there’s a big wide World out there, and you’re missing it!
  3. A complete disaster. There is virtually no entertainment value or any essence of layered simulation. Avoid at all costs!
