This game has gotten some undeserved bad reviews. It is one of the last playable Helicopter battle sims, with the exception of Apache AH64 Assault. I have both of these titles and they are both good and fun to play. A truly epic helicopter flying experience. The graphics? Just play it yourself to see how amazing it is. The voice acting are realistic, and the gameplay is incredible. Shooting some baddies on both ground and air sure feels nice. This is Griffon 2-6. Review completed. Returning to base.

  1. It reintroduces the sometimes forgotten concept of a 10-15 minute learning curve, and has done away with a 200-page flight manual on the basics of aviation.

The missions are interesting and, let’s face it, every once in a while, it’s a cathartic blast to wade into the middle of swarms of bad guys and teach them the folly of opposing truth, justice, and the American way. [Mar 2002, p.91]
  3. The quality graphics, accessible interface, fun single-player and multiplayer action, and effective sound all combine to make this a very appealing release.
