Not nearly as good as Dark Fall The Journal but still beautiful and atmospheric. 2 major gameplay/story flaws make this a tad frustrating.

Perfect for those who enjoy ghost stories, told with intelligence and flair. The old world meets the new, head on, during this spooky tale.

Highly enjoyable, and spooky tale for adventure fans and those who like intelligent gaming. Past and future collide in the lonely, and beautifully realised, Fetch Rock Lighthouse. The ghosts were artistically realised, and the sound design exceptional.

This title lacks the coherence and the qualities of a confined, scary space that helped to make the first part of the series so great.
  2. The challenge isn't necessarily soliving puzzles, but making sure you've examined every single bit of every screen. [Dec 2004, p.89]
  3. The new directions the game goes in dilute the qualities that made the first Dark Fall so great, and it ends up being much less immediate, real and frightening than its predecessor.
