A been-there-done-that title that does pretty well by itself. [May 2002, p.93]
A typical RTS with some atypical races. It would be a nice introduction to the newcomer to the genre, and veterans of this mode or warfare will find it challenging.
Sports some of the best visuals you'll find in a strategy game, real-time or otherwise... [but features] one of the most annoying user-interfaces for any strategy game in recent memory.
DP:BfN has numerous elements that make the game cumbersome to play, and drain it of enjoyment.
Could be a solid RTS if not for the lack of story and the cluttered and variant interface.
A prime example of how amazing graphics can't make up for lackluster gameplay.
Superior graphics...but its poor interface, repetitious campaign modes and unchallenging AI has relegated it to just another also-ran.
