  1. A game meant for gamers who are a bit younger and who enjoy cute sarcastic babes for main characters. So, it all boils down to jumping around bashing recurring enemies with your staff and listening to your un-witty sidekick.
  2. If you can get past the monotonous arcade elements, there's a lot that the title has going for it, including imaginative characters and a script bordering on hysterical.
  3. A complete joy to play and worthy of the attention of even the most hardcore gamer.
  4. Computer Gaming World
A game that mostly excels at being better than you think it'll be. [June 2002, p.86]
  5. All in all, this is a sweet confection of a game that could have given more to chew on as regards some of the puzzles, but it was still humorous and fun, with some excitement thrown in besides.
  6. Rather than mixing action, adventure and puzzle, a narrower focus with more snide remarks and witty writing would have led to a better game.
  7. 73
If you can get over the inane product licensing and the idea that small sugar pills are magical, this isn't a bad third-person action/adventure.
  8. 70
Irresistible for sure, but not exalting enough to overcome substandard play mechanics and aesthetics.
  9. PC Gamer
Manages to pull of a surprising amount of chuckles with its well-written dialogue. [Apr 2002, p.80]

I really like the game, but there is a bug that kicks me out to the desktop once in a while.
