Mar 21, 201185Quite simply, the funniest game of the year. [Feb 2011, p.106]

Dec 20, 201085If you enjoyed the first DeathSpank, you're gonna love Thongs of Virtue. It's just as addictive, just as pretty, and I dare say it's even a little funnier.
-
Dec 15, 201085It's a simple game, without gameplay complexities, extraordinary AI or difficult tactics, quick reflexes on the mouse and plenty of life potions being enough for a victory.
-
Dec 20, 201080Just remember that this is a game that gets by on charm and humor, not gameplay.
-
Jan 3, 201176The larger scope of Thongs of Virtue makes it a great second entry, but when comparing it to the first, the lack of improvements put it in a bad position. It's definitely still a worthy title, but it would have been even better had there been more time between releases and some much needed improvements were made.

Dec 13, 201075DeathSpank is Diablo meets Monkey Island, but it fails to achieve the fun of the former or the humor of the latter. [Jan 2011, p.76]
-
Dec 20, 201073It's longer, funnier and more diverse than the first game, so it's simply better. But we really want to see a better character system – or more of that kind of humor in Diablo 3.
-
Jan 15, 201170Thongs of Virtue contain all of the positives and negatives from original Deathspank. It's more fun than the original although it's almost the same game in every aspect. [Issue#199]

Dec 20, 201070If you're a PC gamer and you enjoy Diablo and Torchlight style games, I'd still say drop the money down on it. There's still some fun to be had.
