Instant classic. This game has unlimited map space with balanced maps and guns. Who could ask for a better multiplayer experience then this?Instant classic. This game has unlimited map space with balanced maps and guns. Who could ask for a better multiplayer experience then this? Graphics are dated of course but what a treat this game is when you have a full server going. Single player is OK but unfortunately the AI is just horrible. If the AI were better then you could definitely have a better single player experience. Expand

Hello my name is Liam and I’m going to do a review on a game called Delta Force. Delta Force is a game that came out in 1998, it's an FPS shooter where the player traverses a large landscape finding bases, and killing said people in those bases. Nowadays the graphics aren't anything to write home about, but in 1998 they were amazing, no other game could render such complex landscapes at the time, and the game became popular for that alone. While large, the landscape isn’t full of things to do, it feels rather bland, but at the same time, the game allows you to shoot people at rather long distances.

The game used the in house voxel engine that allowed the developers to do all this, and included in with the game is an editor so users can create new maps on the fly. The guns feel great when shooting, ai, while dated can sometimes be challenging if you don't know what you’re doing. Before starting a game, the game allows you to pick between two slots for weapons, and two other slots for grenades and miscellaneous tools. Sometimes on missions, you are teamed up with a few other AI, while the friendly AI are great, they kill all other AI in their path making the game rather easy. Using the function keys, you can direct your squad members to wherever you want, making the game reminiscent of the arma series that came after it.

In conclusion, the game in my opinion is a classic to pick up on the pc, currently it's very cheap on steam when on sale and while there are flaws to the game, there's no reason why you can't give it a go.
