With two worlds and 96 levels, there's more than enough game play here for many, many bus journeys.
Deo is a game of skillful jumping, timing, and sometimes, patience. If you enjoy creative, artistic games which evoke a real atmosphere and mood, then check this out. There's no scores, timers, leaderboards or achievements, there's just a gloomy decaying universe, which might stick in your mind as a memorable iOS experience, and I'll happily pay a dollar for that.
It may look like an art game, but Deo is as addictive and clever as puzzle games come.
DEO doesn't stand out in the App Store because of its gameplay, but the dark atmosphere will draw you in.
DEO is a beautiful and elegantly simple platformer for those who revel in stripped-down skill-based challenges, but lacking in substance for those after more than a pretty way to jump around asteroids.
While it's possible to appreciate DEO for ripping up the rule book in terms of its delivery, when it comes to the gameplay itself, it's far too sparse and peculiar for its own good. All in all, there's ultimately only one way to describe DEO: a jump too far.
