  1. Striking graphics, realistic environments, interesting and diverse characters--what’s not to like? Really nothing.
  2. What makes it great is the fantastic level design and AI, the solid cut-scenes and storyline, the inventive character abilities and the fact that the designers have squeezed so much into it.
  3. I loved the fact that the characters know how to hide behind corners, pop out to shoot and then return to cover immediately, and the fact that you have to calm your hand for some time before you can fire a sniper-shot.
  4. It’s got a great setting, suitable music, familiar characters, and enough challenge for the stoutest player. However, if you’re easily frustrated you may want to think before making this purchase.

An engaging storyline, high-quality cut-scenes, a cast of unique heroes and a whole stampede of missions make Desperados a shining silver star.

An incredibly fun and stylish game.
  7. Very polished and well developed.
  8. The reason the score isn’t higher is because in the second mission of the game I found the subject matter of race not too politically correct for the times we live in. Other than that, this game is as pretty and fun as those vivacious saloon gals that I love so much.
  9. Billed as a real-time, team-based, adventure, strategy game, it may sound as though it suffers from an identity crisis. Yet if you are enthralled by solving puzzles and have an infinite amount of patience, this game is for you.
  10. While it's impossible to overlook the game's unforgiving level of difficulty, it is often very entertaining.
  11. Unfortunately, the vivid and inviting setting can't make up for some substantial gameplay flaws.

A good looking Western that has half a brain, takes most of your brains to figure out, and makes you want to scream, "Give me a real Western! Give me a damn Western RPG, for the Duke’s sake!"

  1. This game is truly stunning. There is still no one to get close its calibre. If you have not played yet, it is fairly to say you have lost somethings as game experience. Full Review »

A great game. Memorable characters and settings, good story, great missions, very interesting weapons and skills for each character (some of these weapons and skills are much more useful than the ones your characters have in Commandos), funny dialogues, high replayability. Not very hard either. Definitely worth having and playing. Full Review »

Good! But i wish that it was 3D, & that i'd rotate, unarm unconscious opponents & my players, see against all buildings, climb or jump over fences & railings, & communicate with NPCs! Full Review »
