Detective Grimoire is a well-paced adventure title that features a lot of talking, some good puzzles, a lot of weaker ones, quirky characters and locations, and a murder mystery that will be solved by most gamers before the protagonist has a clear clue about it.

For a game like this to have this bad of a mystery at its core should be absolutely unforgivable, but it presents itself with such charm and style that I find myself willing to forgive quite a lot. Not quite that much, but a lot more than I’d expected.

This game will not put a great pressure on you but it's a very good game ,with little puzzles and riddles , that in my opinion should become a series of games.
Well maybe already is considering the first one but I highly encourage SFB games, the developers, to start a sequel right away .This game surely deserves credit and some time of you to play

Apparently expecting an episode of theirThis is a cartoon game for kids, which the critics have judged as a fully fledged mystery game. Apparently expecting an episode of their favourite detective series, but interactive! Yet again, the critics are absolute imbeciles and completely miss the point. This is the kind of game you sit down and play with a kid, or if you're a big kid yourself at heart, just by yourself.

It's easy, yes, and the mystery isn't too big of a mystery. It's supposed to tax kids, after all, not you. However, it does have some of the best voice acting I've heard in forever, and it has a genuinely brilliant visual aesthetic. It's very much its own personality, doing its own thing, and with some clever mechanics to boot. I love how you have to actually listen to what people are saying in order to know what to interrogate others about, that's going to be good for teaching a kid the importance of listening to details. There are also these lovely logic sections which educate a child on how to connect the dots.

You should stop looking at this as being on the level of Agatha Christie, and start looking at it s being more akin to Inspector Gadget. If you can accept this, and that's okay, and just revel in the charm it oozes and not expect a groundbreaking mystery meant for adults, you'll get along fine.

Critics are idiots. How so many of them missed this is beyond me. I can understand the frequently terrible Rock, Paper, Shotgun missing the point, because they're elitist enough to have their heads up some place they shouldn't, but other sites should know better.

When was it okay to judge a game meant for kids as a game meant for adults? Oh no, it's not a ground-breaking mystery with a grimdark setting, and all of the negative emotions.

It's just a charismatic, joyful, clever little game that you can give your kid to play.
