If you liked Diablo II, everything about this expansion is a huge improvement.
  2. Has a lot of depth that's readily apparent, yet it takes a long time to really see how much is packed into this great expansion to one of last year's most addicting games.
  3. Lord of Destruction’s improvements make replaying Diablo II seem like playing a new game...This program is a blast.

Leave true role-playing to "EverQuest." LoD, just like "Diablo II," focuses on action over role-play. If that's been your addiction since the game came out, this is your new fix.
  5. The sense of immersion is greatly increased. It is a nice feeling, for example, to come across a Barbarian warrior, fighting to save his city, protect him from harm and use him like a football blocker to carve a path.

With its abundance of new features, LoD offers countless additional hours of delightful gameplay.
  7. It doesn't go above and beyond, but the expansion pack gets the job done and that's just fine as it is still a very entertaining little romp.
  8. You're really getting an amazingly reworked masterpiece and not just "a few more levels."
  9. The expansion is so packed with new features, creatures, classes and items that you could mistake it for a new game.
  10. If you are an old Diablo fan, you probably already finished the expansion, and if you never even played Diablo II, well, now you can play a complete debugged game with seven available PC classes.
  11. Adds plenty to Diablo II, and not just a new episode. It actually changes the entire game from start to finish.
  12. By gently correcting shortcomings and firmly reinforcing strengths, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction is an expansion package truly worthy of the best-selling original.
  13. The expansion doesn't offer a sophisticated plot, extensively scripted dialogue, or complicated puzzle solving. It only promises action, and delivers it in abundance.
  14. If you liked "Diablo II" and you are aching to get back in and play some more, there is no better reason than LoD.
  15. It is something that everyone who enjoys a good Action RPG should pick up. You won’t be disappointed. It contains great graphics, crisps sound and music, and the replay value is like no other.

A cool expansion, offering some great additions and gameplay tweaks.
  17. The wide range of character classes to choose from, the forming and perpetual refining of each character, and the sheer breadth of customizing traits available all serve to solidify the replay value of this immense epic.
  18. GamePower
In short, the best reason to own Lord Of Destruction is for the resolution bump -- but it's ludicrous that we have to pay for that...Its high price notwithstanding, this is one expansion pack that's well worth owning.
  19. With the two new character classes, fifth act, powerful new monsters, outrageous new magic items and craft system, the LoD will make you lose sleep, neglect your family’s needs and even miss work from playing it. It’s just that good.

The game in my heart forever. Even i can not play, i always remember it. If the story and quests will be a little bit powerfull then game can The game in my heart forever. Even i can not play, i always remember it. If the story and quests will be a little bit powerfull then game can be perfect. But, who cares? service (even with hacks, cheats, 3dpartyusers, low tech. support) - 10. Graphics (who cares? you need examples?) - none (cus NOT important for me, that IMHO). Gameplay (replayability) - 10! Mucis (sfx, the atmospheric and emotional!) - 10! Story (the hero must kill a bad demon (MANY BAD DEAMONS!), isn't you need something more?) - 10! Hc mode (oh, if pks was be legit... if no one use a cheats... its can be awesome.. but irl..) - so.. none (cus IMHO, cant make opinition, many time was killed by UnLegit haxxors, and its suck.. but when you build the necromancer 90 lvl and make with him legit runs to Nih it awesome, much interesting pvm'ing on hc mode). Its sad, that can get a 10, but.. P.s. about Hc mode, it seem that only pro play at hc, ITS NOT, i see SO SO nOObies players at hc, I rly was in shok: why that crapies players go to hc ?? I think exactly this players play with cheat after, and calling then they 'pro' ~~. doh! That make hc rly bad mode. =/ Full Review »
