  • Summary: John McClane, a brash New York cop, is in Los Angeles to reconcile with his estranged wife. Arriving at her company Christmas party high atop the Nakatomi Plaza, his efforts are interrupted when a group of highly trained, highly armed professional thieves seize the skyscraper as part of a daring heist. This plan is flawless except they didn't count on you... the fly in the ointment, the monkey in the wrench... you are John McClane - jetlagged, barefoot, and out of your jurisdiction. Over 30 single-player levels -- explore 40 floors of the Nakatomi Plaza, inspired by the building featured in the Die Hard movie. [Sierra] Expand

  1. Not only did I manage to get my "Action Hero" fix, but also I managed to feel just as exhilarated as I did when I watched the movie for the first time.
  2. It's a solid first-person shooter with some hours of shooting fun with at least one odd design decision.

The constant rattling of locked doorknobs in Nakatomi Plaza makes it obvious and frustrating. Since floors in the plaza are limited in size, why have all the locked doors?
  4. The only thing good about this game is the scenery and the weapon mechanics, but even that isn't going to rescue this game from fading quickly into obscurity and the bargain software bin.

Great game but difficult and there are quite a few glitches which will get on your nerves. If your in the mood for a good shooter with pretty good graphics (and will still run on lower end PC's) then buy this. Voice acting is good. Its like being in the movie! Expand

Nice game, but loses a lot of points in my opinion cause you can't get to use your gun with your right hand, and I really hate FPS games with left hand. Expand
