While the new art looks great, and the new gameplay elements have a lot of promise, the game as a whole feels like a step backward from the last Diner Dash game: Hometown Hero. Even though the same underlying addictive gameplay is there, the lack of challenge makes it somewhat boring next to its predecessors.
  2. Colored and fast-paced arcade game brings all the ingredients you can remember from the previous installments but not much news – unfortunately, it's almost the same game for the fifth time. [July 2010]
