It adds so many little things that it will be worth the players hard earned cash. The Space Epoch itself is worth the price of it.
Rather than simply adding three new campaigns and 18 additional scenarios, new civilization powers for all 23 cultures, from Ancient Greece's flaming arrows to Rebel Forces' cloaking, bring new excitement to many epochs with some interesting changes or enhancements to gameplay.

Far greater game-play than a lot of real time strategy games today. I really love this game. Great fun. Words cant explain the greatness that is this game!

Rather than being a full-fledged expansion, this one seems like little more than a mission pack with a few extra novelties thrown in to sweeten the deal.
AoC doesn’t exactly bring any shame or disgrace to Empire Earth (EE), but it doesn’t do anything to make itself a must have for EE fans. That being said, most EE fans will like what AoC has to offer.
You're left with the feeling that someone decided that an add-on was a good way to get you to pay more for "Empire Earth"'s bounteous content overflow. [Holiday 2002, p.102]
The textures are model, character models are laughable up-close, and the game has a toylike look that doesn't really pay homage to the historical backdrop.
With the exception of new culture specific powers that are only available in multiplayer gaming, there is nothing in EEAC that enhances the gameplay experience or adds to what is available from the core Empire Earth game.
This game is AWESOME! It is pretty old... but it's still AWESOME! One of the better RTS games out there for sure. This is one of the few RTS games with more than two or three types of resources and that is awesome. I don't really like on how other RTS games there is only two or three types of resources because everything takes like the same thing and isn't quite as challenging with less things to take care of. The many time periods is an awesome mechanic in this game. Making this game more than collect, build, kill. My one and only minor complaint is the max population is a bit low. I fixed with an easy mod. Overall this an AWESOME RTS.

Summary This add-on to Empire Earth pushes the envelope even further with 3 all new campaigns from the Roman Empire to WWII and finally into the future. Players have conquered new lands before, but this time to continue the dominance of their civilization, they must cross the boundaries of space. [Sierra]
