May 16, 201310Best RTS I have ever played, hands down. Empire Earth has a steep learning curve, but once you got the basics down, it really is a fun experience with tons of replay value. The map and scenario editor really are icing on the cake.

Antoine+May 20, 200310Really a ghreat game! Imagine a game from the Prehistoric ages to the Nano Age!?!? Colossal scope! And each epoch is so different ! Truly like 14 games in 1!

JimSep 27, 20035First there was age of empires then other spin offs such as star wars battlegrounds, this is nothing more than a been there done that revamp on an old game. The unit hit points and damage are far off with little balance. build a cheap as hell wall and it takes a mass amount of firepower to bring it down. 5

RichardM.Apr 17, 200310This is by far the best RTS game I have ever played. It is so realistic that I can play for weeks at a time with my friends, online. If you don't have this game get it, you will be glued to your PC for hours the 1st time you play.

Sep 6, 20104Painful and slow gameplay make it incomprehensible that this game actually came after Age of Empires I. To me it feels like a primitive predecessor of that classic game in every way.

Nov 24, 201010Good Game, I liked Like Civilization. I tried once in normal and then I used some cheats I found on the net, Awesome Experience... Definitely one that you NEED to have on your gaming collection

Jul 22, 20128This game is not Age of Empires. At all. Other than the fact that they are both RTS. So everyone stop suggesting that.
Otherwise, this game came out in 2001 and when it did it was great for its time and it still has replay value. One of my favorite RTS and games of all time, even though I gave it an 8, it is a fair score based on some small problems in the game. -
Jun 21, 20129Best RTS I've played. Empire Earth 2 wasn't as good and I hear Empire Earth 3 was even worse. What's up with sequels these days? Meesa don't like them very much.

Jan 28, 20137Un gran RTS. Es verdad que en contenido es mucho mayor que AoE, pero de ninguna forma es una mejor saga. No se que sea, simplemente no llega a superarla.

May 16, 201310It is my opinion that this game was the apex of the RTS genre. Even amazing games like Supreme Commander fail to match up to the brilliance of Empire Earth. Empire Earth features in depth gameplay, stunning visuals, and an inspiring soundtrack. The pinnacle of the game is it's map and scenario editor.

85While it isnt perfect, it does offer up one hell of a good time. [Holiday 2001, p.96]
-
Empire Earths kitchen sink design is too massive (if at time unwieldy) to be darkened by the shadow cast by a dozen games. [Feb 2002, p.94]

Its enjoyable, but because of the top-heavy resource management its easy to feel overwhelmed.
