  1. One of the best jet Sims of the year, if not of all time.
  2. 83
The lack of rudder controls galls me almost as much as the lack of any simple mission creator or instant action mode, but I'll gladly continue playing the game in spite of those defects.
  3. 82
The dynamic campaign is one of the best ever.
  4. Everything carries with it an amazing sense of speed, and the detail on the planes is staggeringly good. [Nov 2002, p.113]
  5. The rare quality of drawing the player into the campaign and making him want to keep fighting for turf (even if it's the cold snow of Iceland) is Eurofighter Typhoon's most outstanding quality.
  6. Having to jump around from plane to plane gives Eurofighter Typhoon a scattered feel in which you're fighting timing rather than flying missions.
  7. It is not sufficiently realistic to be a true flight simulator, and at the same time, lacks enough arcade elements to be considered merely a shooter.
  8. Serious simulation enthusiasts, however, are well advised to stay clear of this game, especially if, like me, you spent hundreds of hours in "EF2000" in the mid-nineties.
  9. The ease with which you can jump into Typhoon makes it intriguing at first, but the simplicity of combat and repetitiveness of the campaign makes the excitement short-lived.
  10. Peacekeeper. [Oct 2007, p.75]

  1. I'm holding off judgement until I play the game. It's obvious that the [Anonymous] reviewer is paid. Not so sure that the other two are but it is not out of the question. I do know that EA paid BF3 fanboys to review-bomb MW3 Full Review »

Flying the most advanced fighter aircraft in the world is the best.
