A "gateway" game. Its friendly enough for first time players, but its got all the things to keep you playing and become a hardcore racer. (Its even got options to show you the best trajectory and supply driving tips.) But even the hardcore simmer will find F1RC a challenge and realistic.

To tell the truth, this whole product should have been a giant patch for F1 2000 rather than a standalone sequel.

The dismal gameplay coupled with the subpar framerates make this play more like a B-grade no-name title rather than the AAA title it was supposed to be, and that's just not forgivable.
