  • Summary: Jump through your television directly into the cockpit of the Navy/Marine workhorse fighting machine-the F/A-18 Hornet. Now you can fly the most prolific carrier-based aircraft in the Coalition arsenal. Load up with precision guided munitions and bring the forces of freedom to bear on the Iraqi regime of terror. Fly above thousands of square miles of stunning satellite image-based terrain. Look through your canopy and see the same environment that Coalition fighter pilots navigated during Operation Iraqi Freedom. [GraphSim] Expand

  1. The fact that there aren’t any incentives to finish specific missions may be a disappointment for those that are more goal orientated but the number of missions available should justify the $30 for fans of pure combat flight simulators.
  2. With no career options to choose from - and only 30 unconnected missions up for grabs in the single-player menu - the entire Operation Iraqi Freedom experience is a remarkably fleeting and sterile exercise for experienced simmers. [Oct 2003, p.114]
  3. Nothing really new here, but worth a look if you need a new sim for a slow system. [Nov 2003, p.142]

Thats just what we need- a little more propaganda in a game likely to be played by kids. Sickness.
