  1. Short and simple and repetitive, and it has really awful graphics, but for some reason I sort of liked it anyway, maybe because I also liked the television series it’s based on the one season I watched it.
  2. A must-have for hardcore fans of the show (both of them). But for anyone else, it'll just be a very boring extra-long episode. [Nov 2002, p.122]
  3. Not quite the challenge hardcore gamers or fans of the show are looking for. [20 Sept 2002, p.159)
  4. 51
A mediocre game. It's certainly not the worst I've played, but neither does it have the spark that draws gamers in.
  5. Despite all the glitz and glamour, the game feels hollow and void of substance.
  6. 45
A third person 3D adventure game that is mostly devoid of fun.
  7. Misfires on pretty much all cylinders.
  8. Farscape the series has been cancelled. The game was not. Nobody wins. [Jan 2003, p.75]
  9. The control is passable, following a Diablo-esque "click-move-click again-move" schema. Boring, but sufficient.
  10. Instead of drawing from the rich source material of the TV show, Farscape is a conventional action game with a clunky interface and a dated engine.
  11. This game is so annoying and poorly designed that it left me vindictively cheering the show's demise. [Dec 2002, p.136]
  12. It's almost as if they settled on the simplest, most derivative game design possible instead of trying to do the show some justice.

Even if you can look past the uninspired visual presentation, Farscape is a somewhat tedious and boring affair that is likely to compel only die-hard fans of the show to play it to the very end.
