He's been taken in by a motley band of escaped alien prisoners on a living ship called Moya. They travel around the galaxy, constantly staying one step ahead of the evil, militaristic Peacekeepers. In this adventure (set during the show's smash first season), Moya is in orbit around an isolated desert planet, recovering from damage. She is suddenly attacked and boarded by a Peacekeeper strike wing. Moya's crew scatters. Some hide aboard the ship; others are captured; a few escape. Crichton, with the alluring Chiana, makes it off the ship in Aeryn's Prowler. They are shot down, and crash-land in the trackless desert. Stranded, unaware of their friends' fates, Crichton and Chiana must find a way to fix their spacecraft and get back to Moya to free their friends. In the meantime, they become mixed up with warring alien factions, and uncover heinous conspiracies and terrible crimes that threaten the stability of the entire galaxy. [Simon & Schuster] Expand

  1. Short and simple and repetitive, and it has really awful graphics, but for some reason I sort of liked it anyway, maybe because I also liked the television series it’s based on the one season I watched it.
  2. PC Gamer

A must-have for hardcore fans of the show (both of them). But for anyone else, it'll just be a very boring extra-long episode. [Nov 2002, p.122]
  3. Entertainment Weekly
    58
Not quite the challenge hardcore gamers or fans of the show are looking for. [20 Sept 2002, p.159)
  4. The control is passable, following a Diablo-esque "click-move-click again-move" schema. Boring, but sufficient.
  5. Misfires on pretty much all cylinders.
  6. Computer Games Magazine

Farscape the series has been cancelled. The game was not. Nobody wins. [Jan 2003, p.75]
  7. 20
Even if you can look past the uninspired visual presentation, Farscape is a somewhat tedious and boring affair that is likely to compel only die-hard fans of the show to play it to the very end.
