  1. The actual gameplay experience of Ford Racing: Off Road really stands out from the rest of the score. The game doesn’t cause you to crash and burn in wrecks due to bad controls or cheap AI. Unfortunately it is hard to swallow the whole pill of Ford Racing when compared to other racing titles readily available.
  2. Play (Poland)
Ford and Land Rover licenses serve no discernible purpose here - the cars are devoid of detail and although the acceleration and cornering depend on mass and power, one would expect far more variety in handling. But when the bulky SUV hits a patch of reeds and suddenly stops, everything becomes crystal clear. It's just another repackaged budget racer. [June 2008]
  3. 35
Slowly meandering around the same few tracks with vehicles that don't really deliver a sense of power or speed just makes for a flat-out boring experience, and it's one you can pass up without consequence.
  4. Ford: Racing: Off-Road is probably not a game that anyone is going to run out and get, and that is for a very good reason. It should probably be a prize that is handed out for either eating an entire box of cereal or test driving a Jeep.
  5. PC PowerPlay
In the final analysis, Ford Off-Road is a shambles. Even without the numerous glitches and bugs the underlying game is so poorly realised that we find it hard to recommend this to even the most die-hard of Ford fans. [Jul 2008, p.58]
