  1. "Spartan" took the turn-based strategy genre to the next level, well with Gates of Troy Slitherine have just reinforced that position.
  2. 81
Gates of Troy, like "Spartan," could use some graphical improvements during battle sequences, but overall is an enjoyable Strategy game and a worthy expansion to its predecessor.
  3. A great game which combines three of the most popular series around today; Civilization, Sim City and Command and Conquer.
  4. Gates is a fun game. [May 2005, p.67]
  5. A decent low-cost dabble if you've grown out of painting little lead figures. [Christmas 2004, p.122]
  6. The lack of decent opposing AI and a distinct lack of strategic options makes for and uninspired and often, well boring, experience.
