Glare confidently puts something notably different within the confines of a strict, conventional genre. Though it lacks any glaring faults, I'm not sure it always works. It it interesting, though, and doesn't overstay its welcome.

Short and sweet with precise controls and imaginative landscapes, Glare is a charming little indie platformer well worth its low asking price.
  3. Oct 17, 2013
Glare is a solid and beautiful platformer with a light mechanic that demonstrates that the time-honored genre still kicks with life.
  4. Oct 28, 2013
Glare is a solid game. It does what it sets out to do, it just doesn’t really do anything more.
  5. Oct 22, 2013
Glare offers an inventive mechanic that could have given rise to a memorable adventure, but then fails to build meaningfully on that early promise. This is an entertaining pit stop that can tide you over on your journey to a bigger, brighter galaxy.
