  1. Excellent recreation of Hogwarts. [Sept 2007, p.80]
  2. A surprisingly entertaining and rewarding experience. Amazing, I know. [Sept 2007, p.54]
  3. It almost seems as if those virtual barriers we often find in video games have disappeared in this game, as if magic had taken over and made this game endless.

A non-Harry Potter fan is going to look at Order of the Phoenix and only see the flaws -- the music drowns out the dialogue, sometimes Harry has trouble opening doors, and there's a graphical glitch here and there -- but if you know what gillyweed does and you don't have one of the better console versions, you'll enjoy this game.
  5. Despite its drawbacks, this is one of the better games in the Harry Potter series. Regrettably, it still lacks the kind of depth that would bring it closer to other competing games on the market.
  6. Order of the Phoenix is the first movie game of the year that would be considered solid for a game, period. For a movie tie-in, it's spectacular.
  7. Die-hard Potter fans will thrill throughout to checking Hogwarts' huge and detailed environs, but Order of the Phoenix's repetitive gameplay will make many wish someone would cast an Avada Kedavara spell in their direction and put them out of their misery already. [Oct 2007, p.66]
  8. Hacky port that bleongs on consoles. [Sept 2007, p.80]
  9. While the core mechanics of Order of the Phoenix are verging on excellent, the game that's been built around them is basically a series of chores in disguise.
  10. The video game version of Order of the Phoenix captures none of the magic in the Harry Potter books or films.
  11. It's a shame really as EA could have done a whole lot better. The control system could be a lot better, the animation could be better and the cut-scenes could be better.

  1. Its actually pretty disapointing. Graphicly it looks ok but the gameplay is far too hard and annoying. Its not interesting as well and rather boring to play. Full Review »
  2. This so-called ''game'' is so boring that even the greatest fans of Harry Potter will be disappointed. What's the point of a game without a challenge? What's the point of a game which is loosely based on a movie which is loosely based on book? What's the point of a game with boring and uninteresting quests? Sometimes, it doesn't even feel like a game. Sometimes it feels like a horrible interactive movie. Even ''Star Trek:Klingon'' was more fun and more challenging and the only thing you had to was to choose and click. ''Thank'' you EA, for giving so much money to professional actors (who did a horrible job). and spending so little money and effort on the actual game. Full Review »

Very good game...Good graphics.I don't like the part when walking through doors.Anyway, i like that in the game you will need to rembember how to cast diffrent types of magics and jinxes.Murtle is very boring and it makes everyone very nervous. The best thing in this game is that u can control Sirius and Dumblebodre in the game. All that discovery points and levels are very boring, but they are the most boring when you finish the story part, and you need to find all this things to finish the game...For the story, it was very boring to find all of the DA members.Hogwarts is very big, and sometimes you need to go from one end of Hogwarts to anothe and that can be very, very boring.I reccomend this game to everyone...
