I've already played Haunt: The Real Slender Game and i absolutely enjoyed it. With Haunted Memories they tried to make the game even better, and I have to say that it was a big success. There is a big area to explore, many weapons and items to find and the story i quite well done. The only bad thing I have to mention is that it's way too bright, even if I play it in paranormal mode it's still too bright. But all in all it's a great game and I look forward to play the other episodes. Full Review »

TL;DR: This game just isn't scary. I originally got it since it was free on Steam and it was a boring Friday afternoon.

    Ever since games
like Slender, indie developers have been making these simplistic horror titles with mostly flash and little substance. The missions are essentially "walk around, find key/tool, find key, read notes, etc" with a few uninteresting monsters around. Story-line, at least for now, is bland and cliched. Atmosphere is done okay but too bright in my opinion.

I will give Madmen Theory the benefit of a doubt however. This is only the first episode, and I'm willing to try the next ones once they're available, but they'd better be scary.

This game is not scary at all. You have to do quite a lot now a days to scare people and this did not even give me a slight fright. Although the graphics in this game are extremely polished and the gameplay is pretty good. Full Review »
