Although Heretic II deviates a bit from the original game, and changes to the third-person perspective, Heretic II is third-person action fantasy at its finest. This game has excellent controls, smooth camera movement, and the idTech 2 engine really looks great as well. The Kevin Schilder soundtrack is a great compliment and really sets the mood for the environment. If you consider yourself a classic PC gamer, this title must be in your collection. Hard to find it but definitely worth buying!

The first Heretic was AWESOME, its sequel, HeXen was amazing! But Heretic II, it's not even a Serpent Rider game! The gameplay is relatively boring, despite the new weapons, which make up for it!
You want a fun game? Buy the original game! Or maybe even the original Heretic II, HeXen!
