[Anonymous]Dec 5, 20078Verry nice game, easy to get used to. A shame there is a lot of bugs and memory managment is really bad quality.

JonathanS.Apr 15, 20077A nice strategy game, nothing new though. Didn't really like the graphics (since they are 3.D with 2.D figures) and it really needs a tutorial, like the way that you can choose if you wanna be a mighty hero or build a city with huge armies. This could have been a really awesome game.

JamesH.Jul 21, 20079A new type of RPG/FPS. i never though that there could be so much content in this game.

ScipA.Jul 23, 200710Really great, takes a while to get your hero back from building a base but other then that really fantastic! I played the demo, and just had to have it.

attilaMar 2, 20086The single player is not a complete game. You'll go weeks without seeing anyone online. Most the people (90%) i have played use some leveling up hack...They gain a level every 2 seconds without killing a thing. Over all the game has a lot of potential, but it seems like the development team gave up on it before the game was finished. Seems like a rush job...

CaptaincavemanOct 28, 20069Comand and conquer meets Diablo. Very good game, almost like the game I would have made.

JoeS.Dec 19, 20079A new type of RPG/Strategy that has a great gameplay and a good story line. I never though they could combine the two in a game. I would have given a 10 if not for two things constant characters voices in the first few missions and the comic strip scenes.

BrunoD.Apr 24, 20079Great game play but certain aspects such as character voices, comic scenes and no online servers hold back HOAE from reaching it's full potential. Overall great story and gameplay though.

DustinW.May 28, 200710This is the best RPG/RTS I have ever played. It has a combination of Dungeon Siege II and Age of Empires. Very well laid out, and my favorite story line.

gypsydaveyJul 13, 20073Awful interface, slow loading, nonsensical fighting, boring, maybe 3 is too many.

CharlesC.Nov 5, 20065The plot is puerile, the voice acting is enthusiastic at best, the interface is clunky and confusing, the graphical style is jarring (thought bubbles... for speech. Is everyone telepathic or something?!). It's not actually a terrible game... it's simply not in any way a *good* game. Still playable, I guess.

BrunoS.Dec 15, 20068I really love this kind of games, I just dont know how to save a scene when I am in the game...I download this game from steampowered. Its the only problem I found.

RoryM.Dec 25, 20065Graphics are good. Detail is very good. Game play needs work. Slow recovery from battle. Manual control of camera/view is annoying. No notice of leveling up. Needs a small tutorial in menu. This could become a great game.

82A massive improvement on "Cossacks" and its kin, and it's a real pleasure to play. [Nov 2006, p.86]

70Like a good pie, but with crap pastry on top. This is a game weighed down by an army of faults, but it's still periodically entertaining. [Jan 2007, p.64]

60A forgettable experience all the way through. While we really like Elhant's attitude, it's the only thing that stands out as unique in this game.
