  1. We're especially tickled by the game's delightfully campy '50s-era moster-movie trailers used to introduce our origins, and how you can play the game in black-and-white. [May 2003, p.84]
  2. There is some fun to be had totally ravaging towns and cities, and, what the heck, it’s only $20. But if you’re looking for a game that’ll be more than a weekend fling, look elsewhere.
  3. It's easy to become so charmed by the game's presentation (and the game's $20 price tag) that you start to forget that somewhere in this otherwise entertaining set of features there needs to be a good game.
  4. The result is four cool-looking monsters running through poorly rendered cities that blow up blandly, and arcade thrills nowhere near the level achieved by equally mindless arcade coin-ops 20 years ago. [May 2003, p.85]

The game's campy humour and multiple gameplay options make this a great stress reliever. It's much too easy to run off a few dozen levels - and an entire evening - at one sitting! Expand
